Curriculum Overviews

In our curriculum, all subjects are taught discretely and some links between subject areas are made where possible.

Some curriculum areas (Science, History, Geography, Art and Design, Design and Technology and Computing) are mapped out and taught in blocks over the course of the year.

Where links are appropriate, connections between discrete subjects and the theme are made.

All curriculum documents are working documents and will be amended and updated periodically as a part of the school's curriculum development process.

Curriculum overviews are in development with the components for each curriculum area taken from the knowledge and skills contained in each subject curriculum statement. Across the school year, detail is added to these overviews to reflect the progress being made through the curriculum.
